Promotions

At the end of an academic year, students need to move to the next class. This process has been made very simple and intuitive to promote students.

Promote Final Years

Click on, for instance, 3 Science and click on Complete Class before promoting 2 Science to form 3.

Click on Complete Class to start the process.

Carefully read the confirmation message on the dialog, and click on Complete Class to confirm the action.

Promote Junior Classes

After completing the final years, its time to promote the next classes, which would be the form 2s to form 3.

Also click on, for instance, 2 Science and select the senior class to promote to.

Click on Promote Class to start the process.

Carefully read the confirmation message on the dialog, and click on Promote Class to confirm the action.

Care must taken when doing this!!!

Please promote students from the senior classes to junior classes to avoid mix-up.

If you unintentionally add new students of a class to another class with students, this process cannot be reversed. In the event of such an issue, you can Edit each student and select his/her original class.

If there exist students to be REPEATED during the promotion season, promote all students and then edit each student by selecting the previous classes. This is easy because that will be few records to modify.

If there are students to be WITHDRAWN, rather edit the student and select Dismissed from the Status field. That way, the promotion does not affect the student.
