Sessions
The Session feature enables the system to track and management activities by Semester and Academic Year combined.
This activity is required for every semester.
List of Sessions
Error
If there is no Current Session activated, a notification is displayed to indicate that the system is locked down!!!.
Academic Years
Before adding a new session, you need to add an Academic Year. click on the Academic Year tab to view the academic years.
Click on Add Year to add a new academic year, and provide the name as indicated below:

If you desire to delete an academic year, it should not be linked to any activity such as Student Registrations.
You cannot delete it when bonded.
You can however edit the name of the academic year even when in use.
New Session
Click on the Sessions tab to activate the Sessions List page.
Click on the Add Session button to add a new session.
From the Add Session dialog box, enter a unique name for Session Name and select the Academic Year and Semester.
You must select both Vacation and Reopening dates and save.

If you want to activate this Session as current, toggle the Is Current button.
Edit Session
Click the Sessions tab to activate the List of Sessions page.
Click on the Edit button to edit an existing session.
Hint
To prevent Teachers from entering assessments after a deadline, the session can be disabled to enforce a system lock down.
Delete Session
You cannot delete a session if it is used for Students Registrations. An error notification will be displayed in such an event.
